Coronavirus case and death numbers at 10 European holiday destinations

Scots wishing to jet away on a holiday abroad this summer should be aware of the current coronavirus situation in chosen destinations.

Earlier this month, Nicola Sturgeon confirmed quarantine-free air bridges with 39 countries – and later added Spain to that list.

This means travellers do not need to self-isolate for 14 days on return to Scotland.

However, Greece is already considering a second lockdown following a spike of infections in tourists.
