Hanging In There – art exhibition by Bibo Keeley and Debby Forsyth

24 March @ 6:00 am - 3 April @ 2:00 pm

Free

‘Hanging In There’ – an exhibition of new semi-figurative sculptures by Bibo Keeley and Debby Forsyth is hosted by Bonnymuir Green Community Trust as part of Climate Week North East 2023.

OPENING NIGHT:  Friday 24 March 6pm – 8.30pm  All Welcome.

Exhibition runs until 3 April, daily from 10am – 2pm (closed Sundays)

The artists explored the limitations and possibilities of sustainable creative processes, by focussing on low-impact and biodegradable natural materials like clay, driftwood, and organic fabric.

Further inspiration came from finding new ways of  merging their individual art practices (including puppetry, sculpture, performance and moving image)  and to create narratives through sculpture and moving image.

A short video complementing  the exhibition features some of the sculptures along with spoken word performance by the artists.

This three-way collaboration was funded by an Aberdeen City Council Creative Funding Award for Ideas and Project Development (in collaboration with Creative Scotland). The exhibition is supported by Bonnymuir Green Community Trust and is part of Climate Week North East 2023.
