Rangers goalscoring hero Filip Helander was left lost for words as he tried to describe the Ibrox roar that greeted his Old Firm winner.
The Swede has played in some big games for club and country, having strutted his stuff at San Siro and Juventus Stadium during his time in Serie A.
But the big defender admits he was totally blown away by the sheer volume coming from the Ibrox stands when he headed home.
Helander told the club’s in-house TV channel: “Incredible emotions, and the noise afterward… it’s something I’ll never forget.
“We got an important win and it couldn’t be better.
“I don’t know it’s just… it’s very hard (to put into words).
“I don’t score a lot of goals and I never really think about scoring goals, then when you do you just lose control for a while.”
It’s been a difficult week for Rangers, with Covid cases int he camp and a long trip to Armenia, but Helander feels the derby win shows how together the squad are.
He continued: “It’s been a tough week, not the best performance in Armenia and lots of people missing for the game.
“I think it was a big victory for us and we showed togetherness, that we’re a team and everyone is fighting for each other.
“It’s just a perfect end to the week.”
