Fire crews are currently battling a blaze at a derelict theatre in Greenock.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that three appliances were on the scene after reports of a building fire at the Arts Guilds around 9.25pm on Sunday night.
It’s the second time a fire has broken out at the disused building on Campbell Street over the past two months.
Flames and smoke could be seen from across the town.
Speaking about the fire on Twitter, Local MP Ronnie Cowan said: “Art Guilds in Greenock is in flames tonight.
“Another iconic building left to rot in #Inverclyde. Hope nobody is injured and a big thanks to our Fire and Rescue service.”
The SFRS confirmed that there have been no reports of anyone being injured in the incident.
The Arts Guild Theatre was a local institution that served the town for over 60 years, it has been closed for over seven years.
A spokesperson for the Scottish and Fire Rescue Service said: “We were called to an incident in Campbell Street, Greenock, at 9.25pm on Sunday November 15.
“Operations control mobilised three appliances to the scene and crews are currently still in attendance.
“No casualties have been reported”.
