Flasher ‘performed indecent act on himself’ in front of teenagers on Scots beach

Police are hunting a pervert who flashed a pair of teenagers at a busy Scots beach.

The man indecently exposed himself on Nairn’s east beach at Lochloy Holiday Park yesterday.

Police have now launched a probe following the incident at 2.30pm when two teenagers, a boy and a girl, were on the sand dunes at the beach when they saw the man carrying out an ‘indecent act’ on himself.

He is described as white, with a tanned complexion, 50-60 years of age, of medium or large build, grey hair hanging down from a dark baseball cap and was wearing red short sleeved top and tan or beige cargo shorts or trousers.

Constable Kirsty MacDonald, Nairn Police Station, said: “Whilst the man was in the distance from them, he was easily seen by them and his actions alarmed them sufficiently to contact police.

“As it was a lovely day yesterday, the beach was busy with families and others enjoying the day out. It’s an area well used by locals and there is a nearby caravan park.

“Officers are reviewing CCTV footage from the caravan park, as we believe the man would have to have left the area via there, and are also making local enquiries.

“I would ask that anyone, especially those with mobile phone, drone or dash-cam footage from area yesterday, get in touch with police.
