Hamilton Accies FC set to deliver festive panto to your living room this Christmas

Hamilton Accies Football Club are delivering a fun festive family pantomime live to people’s living rooms this Christmas.

Oh yes they are!

For the club, working in conjunction with some of Lanarkshire’s most talented young actors, are putting together daily virtual performances of Jack and the Beanstalk from December 13 until Christmas Eve.

The live streamed production has been brought together by Accies, Blameless Children’s Charity, QTV and Stream Digital who all invite the Lanarkshire public to join them for laughs and spills galore.

Funds raised from the sale of a one-off virtual subscription ticket will benefit three charity sectors, those being the crippling Performing Arts industry, children and families affected by addiction in the local community and those most vulnerable and disadvantaged across Lanarkshire.

Accies chief executive Colin McGowan told the Advertiser: “The club is delighted to announce that we are hosting 11 performances (including matinee and evening) this Christmas.

“With a strong cast of professional actors, these fun characters will deliver a hilarious panto with lots of surprises in store for the viewers, including some famous cameos turning up at the market place alongside Jack.

“It is hoped that with enough funds raised via the subscription it will benefit Blameless, Go Kids Performing Arts Academy, led by the fabulous Garry King who wrote this version of Jack and the Beanstalk and Hamilton Accies Community Trust – all working for the people of Lanarkshire.”

Whatsmore, the production uses newly installed top technologies that also help to live stream Accies football games to their fans via their pay per view channel every home game – guaranteeing a top class performance live streamed on the best technology to your front room.
