Lewis Capaldi to auction signed top he wore on hit video in charity fundraiser

Lewis Capaldi is to auction a signed, vintage Fred Perry tracksuit top which was worn in his new music video to raise money for suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

The auction on eBay UK kicks off at 8pm on July 6, and runs until 8pm July 13, with bids staring at just 99p.

The Scots singer also revealed his support for UK small businesses, by featuring products from eBay sellers in his new music video, which was released last Friday.

The vibrant, signed, trackie top worn by Lewis in the remake of his new video for Before You Go, was bought from vintage small business seller, Sheanie’s Vintage.

The new video sees Lewis trying out a fitness regime and new hobbies, all with products purchased from some of the 300,000 small businesses on eBay.

So if you want to get buns of steel like everyone’s favourite singing Scotsman and feel good doing it, you can now purchase the same kettle bells he uses in the video on eBay UK from small business, We R Sports, as well as bidding to win the designer jacket to raise money for CALM.

Speaking on the auction, Lewis said: “Right now, I think it’s more important than ever that we rally round to support small businesses. That’s why I’m auctioning one of the tops I’m wearing in the ‘Before You Go’ video, with all proceeds from the shirt auction going to the incredible CALM”

Campaign Against Living Miserably CEO, Simon Gunning said: “Lewis has been absolutely brilliant championing the CALM cause and raising funds for our vital helpline services during lockdown and this auction is another example of his generosity.

“A lot has happened over the last few months, and lockdown has affected our lives in different ways, which is why people are needing CALM and our services more than ever.
