A visibly angry Kieran Tierney was held back by players from both Arsenal and Leeds after a flashpoint at Elland Road before earning a cutting verdict from Richard Keys.
The Scotland star made a beeline for Ezgjan Alioski who had been the victim of Nicolas Pepe’s stupid headbutt that led to his dismissal.
But Tierney wasn’t happy and a host of players and coaches from both teams had to guide him off the pitch after the ill-tempered 0-0 draw.
And his international teammate Liam Cooper had to have a word as he continually tried to get back to Alioski to settle the score.
He said: “He just needs to get himself off now Tierney. He’s just being an idiot. Get off!
Tierney was excellent during the 90 minutes and his lung-bursting runs were the most reliable attacking outlet for Mikel Arteta’s side on a frustrating day in Yorkshire.
