Transfer news LIVE: All the latest rumours and done deals

The real football is back but that doesn’t mean the transfer market grinds to any sort half.

Clubs in Scotland have until October to add to their squads so expect new faces to arrive everywhere even as the season progresses.

Alfredo Morelos is the biggest talking point at Rangers as Lille remain in the hunt for his signature – but the striker started in his side’s win over Aberdeen this afternoon.

Rangers are looking to add another striker and that could be Lyndon Dykes even if Morelos stays.

Lyle Taylor and Mirko Maric have also been linked while Bongani Zungu’s move appears to be close.

Let’s start with champions Celtic. Neil Lennon’s men are on the lookout for a new striker after they snapped up Vasilis Barkas for their troublesome goalkeeping slot. He’s the only ‘new’ face in the door at Celtic Park with Moi Elyounoussi also extending his loan.

Ivan Toney appears to be the top target after a move for Albian Ajeti fell through. Lennon will also hope to hold onto Odsonne Edouard and Kris Ajer ahead of a big campaign.

Lyle Taylor and Mirko Maric have also been linked while Bongani Zungu’s move appears to be close.

Elsewhere, Aberdeen added Ryan Edmondson on Friday and Derek McInnes will be looking to add more as the weeks go on.

Outside of Scotland, Manchester United’s bid for Jadon Sancho is the biggest talking point.
