Transfer news RECAP: Look back over all of Saturday’s rumours and done deals

It’s Saturday and their is a fresh excitement in the air as Scottish football readies itself to return on August 1st.

With a date now firmly in mind clubs are escalating transfer business to be ready for the big kick-off.

At Rangers, Steven Gerrard appears to be targeting a striker with Lyndon Dykes, Kemar Roofe and Lyle Taylor all linked. Terem Moffi is another target while Florian Kamberi is still on the shortlist as rumours continue to grow over the Hibs man.  

Keeping hold of Alfredo Morelos and Borna Barisic is also essential to their title tilt while a centre back could also be on the agenda after injury to Niko Katic.

Celtic‘s No. 1 target is a goalkeeper. The deal for Fraser Forster hit the skids so they’ve turned their attention to Joe Hart. Vaclav Hladky, Vasilios Barkas and David Marshall are other options.

Neil Lennon faces a task to hold onto Odsonne Edouard with the striker attracting big interest while American Mark McKenzie has emerged as a target.

Motherwell have been working hard while Hibs signed three – including big-money man Kevin Nisbet – on Friday.

On the continent and deals involving Kai Havertz and Jadon Sancho are the big news.
