3D PRINTER

Used in conjunction with our other 3D equipment, our Formlabs 3D printer is a useful tool for printing models, surgical guides and can be used for orthodontic applications.

3D CBCT SCANNER – CONE BEAM COMPUTED TOMOGRAPH

We have installed a 3D CBCT scanner to allow our dentists high quality 3D digital x-rays which is particularly useful for diagnosing TMJ problems, preparing for surgical extractions, dental implant planning and for smile design.

Our CBCT scanner not only produces high quality 3D x-rays but it can be switch to 2D where there is no requirement for a 3D x-ray to be taken.

TRIOS 3D INTRA-ORAL SCANNER

Our 3D intra-oral scanner allows our dentists to take accurate 3D scanned images of your mouth and bite which can be used for Smile Design as well as the files being able to be emailed to the dental laboratory immediately for crowns, veneers and other bridges to be milled without delay. Not only does this speed up the process but also allows the dentist and laboratory to exchange files before the milling process begins.

INTRA-ORAL CAMERA

At Andrew Scott Dental Care we want to allow patients the opportunity to get more involved in their dental care. Out intra-oral camera allows patients to see close up before and after pictures. This tool is also useful as part of and smile design.
