A historic stag made of boulders has re-emerged from an Aberdeenshire hillside thanks to five years of work from volunteers.

The Mormond Hill Stag was originally created in 1870, but disappeared from sight over the years. Now thanks to the efforts of a local group of volunteers, the stag has been revealed once more for visitors to enjoy and appreciate.
